Shipping was fast and packaged very well. So far I'm impressed with this tablet. I have already updated appslib and added the real google market. Type this into you tube. "How install android market on Coby Kyros 7022" . This works on the 8125. So far I have added sky fire, fancy widgiet, Netflix, android assistant, app2 SD free, and launcher pro. Launcher pro was added from their site. Everything works great . I will say the speakers are a bit lacking, but using headphones makes all the difference. I had a 1 gb SD card laying around which you will need to add the realGoogle market. I plan to purchase some type of case . The finish on this is quite slick. Two days and id give a thumbs up. I would have given it five stars, had the speakers been better, they just aren't loud enough. If anything changes ill updateUpdate 12/4/11 I did notice that the speakers, were better on some websites versus others. Maybe 4.5 ****.5... It comes with a 1Ghz processor which will enable one to do most anything they need a tablet to do. But here is why I think it is BETTER than an ipad and a more intelligent purchase.I bought three of these coby's for Christmas for my 6, 9, and 12 year old daughters. I bought a 10" (MID1126), and two 8" (MID8126) upper end Coby's for the price I would have paid for one ipad. Now don't get me wrong, I own many apple products- three ipod touches, two nano's, a shuffle, and the best ipod ever made- the last ipod video 30gb which came before all the proprietary hookups. The Coby name is symbolic of electronic toys for kids, but this isn't the case with these upper end Coby tablets. First of all, THIS IS NOT AN IPAD OR A MOTOROLA XOOM! If you are buying this tablet in hopes that it is a cheap alternative to those higher-end devices, you are sadly mistaken. The Kryos has 512mb of RAM and a 1GHz Processor. The XOOM for example, has 1GB of RAM. So naturally this tablet responds a lot slower than a XOOM or iPAD. The Coby Kryos has a resistive screen. The XOOM and the iPads have capacitative screens. What does this mean? The latter is the type of screen most higher end smartphones have, such as the iPhone or HTC Evo, DROID BIONIC, Droid X, Sony Xperia Play, Nexus, etc. They are more fragile--but respond better because they are more sensitive. Resistive screens are built for durability. Sure they can withstand more, but as the name implies--they resist your finger touch. This makes it more difficult to click and drag items on...
